Meet Monica

End of Life Doula & Compassionate Care Specialist

My Offer to You

My main focus revolves around guiding and supporting people to get their affairs in order well before the end of life, so they feel informed, prepared and at peace with their choices. Education and personal support empowers each person to make clear, considered decisions, reducing stress and uncertainty for themselves and their families. This preparation becomes a lasting gift of ease and clarity for the loved ones left behind, allowing them to navigate loss with fewer practical burdens and “with no strings attached”.

Through education, I help you understand the many aspects of end‑of‑life planning, legal, practical, emotional and spiritual, so that you can make choices that truly reflect your values and wishes. Together, we explore options around care, funerals, legacy and communication with loved ones in a way that feels respectful and manageable.

In terms of support, I offer assistance to get things in order: identifying what needs attention, organising information and documents, and making sure your wishes are clearly recorded and shared where appropriate. This includes supporting you to think through medical preferences, funeral choices, and how you want your personal and digital affairs to be handled.

A central part of my role is nurturing a willingness to take responsibility for these matters, not as a burden, but as an act of love and care for yourself and the people important to you. By facing these decisions together, step by step, you can reduce uncertainty and anxiety, and create a sense of peace and completion, leaving as few “strings attached” as possible for those who remain.

What I offer

I offer both online and in‑person courses designed to help people get their affairs in order so they can be prepared to “leave with no strings attached.” My course provides clear, practical guidance on what needs to be organised—legal, financial, personal and end‑of‑life wishes—so that participants feel informed and confident rather than overwhelmed.

Whether someone attends online or joins me in person, I help to create a supportive space where questions are welcomed, and complex topics are explained in everyday language. By the end of the course, you will not only understand what needs to be done, but will have begun putting real steps in place, giving yourself and your loved ones the gift of clarity, easement and fewer burdens when the final goodbye comes.

I am also open to assisting the dying and their families wherever possible, offering compassionate support during one of life’s most challenging transitions. This includes gentle guidance on comfort care, emotional presence, practical help with immediate needs, and facilitating meaningful conversations or rituals that honour the person’s wishes. My approach remains focused on education, preparation and empowerment, ensuring dignity, peace and as few “strings attached” as possible for everyone involved.
